High Power Density
Uniquely re-designed fuel cell stack at the microstructure level. Significantly more compact, lightweight and efficient.
Simplified Architecture
Simplified system architecture means fewer parasitic loads, lower costs and greater efficiency.
Automated Production
Entirely new concept of stack design and assembly enables high micro-precision and significantly lower production costs.
Design Flexibility
Inherent design scalability allows for deployments up to MW level on a single stack. It can also operate in HT-PEM / electrolyser modes (with different materials).
What is a Fuel Cell ?
Fuel cells are devices that electrochemically combine hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, water, and heat. Unlike batteries, fuel cells continuously generate electricity as long as a source of fuel is supplied. Fuel cells do not burn fuel, making the process quiet, pollution-free, and up to two to three times more efficient than combustion technologies.
In the face of fast-approaching global decarbonisation targets, in many cases there is no practical alternative technological solution. For example, commercial vehicles both on land and water that require extended use, range and/or heavy payloads are primed for disruptive decarbonisation solutions that cannot be met by battery technology alone. These include marine vessles, off-road vehicles, long distance trucking and aviation.
Fuel cells will also play an important role in backup power and long-duration energy storage for data centres, microgrids and criticial applications.
